Houston Title VII of Civil RightsHOUSTON TITLE VII OF CIVIL RIGHTS An act is one which dictates certain norms or orders to people. One such act is the Houston title VII of the civil rights act which was introduced to give the citizens the constitutional right to vote, to provide injunctive relief against discrimination in public accommodations in order to confer jurisdiction upon the district court of United States, even the Attorney general is authorized to institute suits to protect the constitutional rights in public facilities and education, to create equal employment opportunities, as well to extend the commission on civil rights act, to prevent various forms of discrimination and for other purposes. Though this act is enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the United States of America in congress assembled, this act is called the Title VII of the Civil rights Act. The title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as it appears in the volume 42 of United States Code has following dictations. It prohibits employment discrimination based on the factors of race, creed, sex, color and ethnicity. There are several sections that are amended as per the Title VII. In addition according to sections 102 of the CRA that amends the revised status by adding a new section following section 1977. The revised status provides the recovery of compensatory and punitive damages in case of intentional violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act according to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and section 501 of Rehabilitation Act of 1973. The various words used in the Act have their respective meaning and definitions.
